Privacy policy
This policy lists every third party this site loads and the choice the banner records. It was last updated on 2026-10-23. The contact address is [email protected].

What I checked
Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and two Adsterra units load by default. Reject reloads the page with those integrations disabled. The YouTube player waits for a play click. Global Privacy Control is treated as Reject. Fonts and images are hosted locally.
Who operates the site
The operator is the editorial desk behind mafiatheoldcountry.org. Email [email protected]. There is no separate company address published because correspondence is handled at that mailbox.
What a page view loads
Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra load by default on the first page view, before you answer the banner. The banner is a notice and a withdrawal control: pressing Reject stops these scripts, removes their visible output, sets the Google consent signals to denied, and remembers the refusal for 180 days. Accept keeps them on. Global Privacy Control is treated as Reject.
Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-5EHFKJT62E) loads gtag.js from www.googletagmanager.com and sends events to www.google-analytics.com and the regional google-analytics.com hosts. It sets the _ga and _ga_5EHFKJT62E cookies to distinguish browsers. Google does not log or store the full IP address for GA4. GA4 event-data retention depends on the property setting (2 or 14 months for standard properties); the cookies can live for up to 2 years, and the property setting controls the report data.
Microsoft Clarity (project z1za5bnqxh) loads from www.clarity.ms, downloads its runtime from scripts.clarity.ms, and sends recordings to regional collection hosts under clarity.ms (such as f.clarity.ms or t.clarity.ms). It records clicks, scrolls, pointer movement and, subject to masking, session replays. It sets the _clck cookie (about one year) and the _clsk cookie (about one day), and Microsoft may read its MUID identity cookie on Microsoft domains. Form fields, passwords and other sensitive content are masked by default. Clarity keeps recordings for up to 30 days and aggregated heatmap data longer.
Adsterra (publisher 3403020, website 6143356) serves one in-page Native Banner (unit 31874079) and one floating Social Bar (unit 31874080). Both loader scripts and the creatives come from bicea.org and the partners Adsterra uses for that unit. Adsterra and those partners may set cookies or local storage to cap frequency, measure impressions, prevent fraud and, when a partner chooses, personalize ads. Adult ads are switched off for this website.
YouTube is the only embed that waits for an action. The trailer is a local poster image; pressing play creates a www.youtube-nocookie.com iframe. YouTube and Google may set VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE, YSC and PREF cookies at that point under Google's privacy policy. Nothing from YouTube is requested before the click.
No additional analytics, advertising or session-replay integration is configured by this site. Fonts, images and scripts other than the ones named above are served from this domain.

Cookie names and lifetimes are the vendors' current defaults and can change on their side. The two Adsterra units are the only ad code this domain loads.
The consent record and the default
The key is mtoc_consent_v1 in localStorage on this domain. Its value is a small JSON object with your choice, an expiry and a version. Retention is 180 days; after that the script treats the record as missing and the default applies again. The initial granted record is an automatic site default, not evidence that you clicked Accept. Reject stops these integrations; Cookie settings lets you change the choice.
With no stored record, the site writes granted, loads the three integrations and still shows the banner with Accept and Reject. That is the default-on behaviour in force since 21 October 2026. Pressing Reject writes denied, removes the ad frames and floating bar, reloads the document to stop previously loaded scripts, and sets analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization to denied through Google Consent Mode. Pressing Accept writes granted and reloads the page with them enabled. The footer's Cookie settings button reopens the banner so you can change the choice at any time.
If the browser exposes navigator.globalPrivacyControl, the script writes denied, stops the loaders on that first view and does not show the banner. The legacy Do Not Track header is not read on its own. Global Privacy Control is the signal this page acts on.
Advertising and how to opt out
Adsterra may personalize ads using cookie and device data. You can object to personalized advertising at the network level with the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out (https://optout.aboutads.info/), the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out (https://optout.networkadvertising.org/), or Your Online Choices (https://www.youronlinechoices.com/). Adsterra's own privacy policy is at https://adsterra.com/privacy-policy/. Reject on this site removes the Adsterra loaders entirely, so no Adsterra request is made on later page views while the refusal is stored.
We do not run Google AdSense or any other ad network on this domain, and the Adsterra website record has adult ads disabled. We do not sell personal data and we do not run an ad auction ourselves.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and you can object to a record we hold, by emailing [email protected]. Say which right you are using and which page you mean. You can also clear mtoc_consent_v1 in your browser, or press Cookie settings in the footer and choose Reject. We reply to privacy email at that same address.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. Google, Microsoft and Adsterra act as independent controllers for the data their own tags collect; their privacy policies and opt-out pages describe those rights.
Changes to this policy
We will post changes on this page and change the date at the top. If a new third party is added, it will be named here, with its cookie or localStorage keys and retention, before its tag ships. The aliases /privacy-policy/, /cookie-policy/ and /cookies/ redirect here.
FAQ
Do ads and analytics load before I answer the banner?
Yes. A first page view loads Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and the two Adsterra units; the banner appears at the same time. Press Reject to stop them and remember the refusal for 180 days.
How do I turn them off later?
Press Cookie settings in the footer and choose Reject, or clear mtoc_consent_v1. Global Privacy Control also counts as Reject.
Do you sell personal data?
No. We do not run an ad auction on this site and the only ad network is Adsterra.
How long do you keep the choice?
180 days in localStorage, on your device.
