Is it worth it in 2026?
It suits players who want a short, directed crime story. At the October 23 US Steam price of $49.99, compare that story length with the value you expect; eligible PS Plus members can try the base game through the catalog.

What I checked
Launch reviews are from August 2025. Since then the game gained Photo Mode, Free Ride extras, and the Man of Honor DLC, and the standard edition hit $29.99 on Steam. PS Plus Extra and Premium include the base game, so a subscriber may not need to spend anything to try the story. The DLC is still $9.99 and is Mixed on Steam. I would buy the base game on sale, or play it on PS Plus, and only add Man of Honor if the ending left you wanting the Salieri chapters.
Who should skip it
Skip it if your complaint with the series is driving between cutscenes. The reviews that call it small are describing the mission structure, which patches did not turn into a sandbox.
US Steam Standard is back to $49.99 on October 23. The earlier $29.99 offer is historical. Compare current prices on the platform you can actually play.

FAQ
Did the reviews change after launch?
The critic reviews are largely from launch. Steam's recommendation percentage changes; see the reviews page for the October 23 storefront sample and its filters.
Is the DLC required?
No. The base ending is complete. Man of Honor is an earlier winter, not a new finale.
