Old Country vs Mafia II vs Mafia III
The Old Country is the short, linear, 1900s one. Mafia II is the mid-century city story. Mafia III is the long 1960s map. Pick by structure, not by a numbered ranking I did not earn.

What I checked
I am using the lengths already cited for The Old Country, 10–12 hours for the story, and I am not inventing fresh hour counts for II and III on this page. The qualitative difference is the one the series pages support: III is the large map, The Old Country is the directed campaign, II is the bridge and the city the ending names.
Side by side
Hours for II and III are intentionally blank rather than guessed.
